What's a lagomorph?
Lagomorphs are members of the taxonomical order Lagomorpha, which includes rabbits, hares, and pika. It's a common misconception that rabbits are rodents! (Not that there's anything wrong with rodents.) This blog is going to be mainly about rabbits, but I might sneak in other lagomorph-related information as my whims take me.

Welcome to LagoNorth, a Blog About Canadian Lagomorphs!
Welcome to LagoNorth. My vision for this site is to bring together information about rabbits in the Great White North without succumbing to the breeder/rescue divide. I believe the best hope for Canada's rabbits is cooperation between all ethical and responsible bunny lovers. I hope some of you can agree with this ideal; at the very least, I would like to become a useful collection of links and resources about those lovely lagomorphs livening up our days.
